Luni, 14 octombrie 2024 – Proverbele 18:1-24

Omul morocănos este neprietenos și respingător. Nebunia îl face pe om să aibă mintea mică și gura mare.

,,Cine găsește o nevastă bună găsește fericirea; ea este un har pe care-l capătă de la Domnul” (Proverbe 18:22). Cine dorește să găsească o nevastă bună trebuie s-o caute. Căutarea nu este pentru nevastă, ci pentru o nevastă bună. Aceasta ne îndreptățește să credem că nu toate nevestele sunt bune.

,,Cine găsește o nevastă bună găsește fericirea; este un har pe care-l capătă de la Domnul.” (vers. 22)

Solomon explică în versetul 22 două lucruri:

1.     O nevastă bună produce fericire.

2.     Găsirea fericirii este asociată cu găsirea soției.

În rugăciunea care urmează vom cere de la Dumnezeu să inspire alegerile și să binecuvânteze casele noastre.

Monday, October 14, 2024 – Proverbs 18:1-24

A grumpy man is unfriendly and unapproachable. Foolishness makes a person narrow-minded and loud-mouthed.

“He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord” (Proverbs 18:22). Whoever desires to find a good wife must search for her. The search is not just for any wife but for a good wife. This leads us to believe that not all wives are good.

“He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord.” (verse 22)

Solomon explains two things in verse 22:

1. A good wife produces happiness.
2. Finding happiness is associated with finding a wife.

In our prayer today, we will ask God to inspire our choices and bless our homes.
