Joi, 9 martie 2023, Exodul 15:1-27 – Cântarea de laudă

Frica evreilor că vor sfârși uciși de armata lui Faraon s-a transformat în bucurie și cântări de laudă pentru că Dumnezeu le-a luat apărarea și i-a scăpat cu viață. Moise, Maria și întreg poporul au cântat cântarea biruinței lui Dumnezeu.

Acest poem de laudă are trei părți principale și o încheiere (v. 1-6 ; 7-11 și 12-16). La sfârșitul fiecărei părți se repetă cuvintele: ,,Mâna Ta cea dreaptă, Doamne”.

Poporul și-a continuat călătoria și în trei luni de zile au ajuns la Muntele Sinai. Călătoria lor a presupus un șir de minuni. Apa amară nu era potabilă – Moise și-a folosit toiagul și apa s-a făcut bună de băut. Dumnezeu le-a dat biruință și i-a scăpat din mâna lui Faraon!

Este timpul potrivit să adresăm recunoștința noastră către Domnul care ne-a scăpat din necazurile vieții. Apoi, să nu cerem doar viață, ci o viață care Îl proslăvește pe El.

Thursday, March 9, 2023: Exodus 15:1-27 – The Song of Praise

The Hebrews’ fear that they would be killed by Pharaoh’s army turned into joy and songs of praise because God defended them and saved their lives. Moses, Miriam, and all the people sang the song of God’s victory.

This song of praise has three main parts and a conclusion (v. 1-6; 7-11, and 12-16). At the end of each part, the words “Your right hand, O Lord” are repeated.

The people continued their journey and in three months’ time, they arrived at Mount Sinai. Their journey was filled with miracles. The bitter water was undrinkable – Moses used his staff and the water became good to drink. God gave them victory again and again and saved them from the hand of Pharaoh!

It is the right time to express our gratitude to the Lord who has saved us from the troubles of life. Then, let us not only ask for life but a life that glorifies Him.
