Miercuri, 8 martie 2023, Exodul 14:1-31 – Traversarea Mării Roșii

Faraon și 600 care de luptă au plecat în urmărirea evreilor. Aceștia s-au îngrozit când au văzut armata numeroasă a lui Faraon și au realizat că sunt prinși ca într-un clește, între mare și dușmani.

Deși au strigat către Domnul, ei nu au avut încredere în El pentru a-i ajuta. Poporului speriat i-a fost mai ușor să-i reproșeze lui Moise că i-a așezat sub mânia aprinsă a lui Faraon.

Dumnezeu l-a învățat pe Moise să folosească toiagul, îndreptându-l spre mare – și minunea s-a întâmplat. Marea s-a despicat în două și evrei au trecut ca pe un drum uscat, scăpând de răzbunarea egiptenilor. Apa s-a închis la loc și a înecat armata urmăritorilor.

Atunci când Dumnezeu vrea să scape pe cineva, El are toate resursele la îndemână. Armata puternică a regelui a murit înecată în mare, iar evreii neputincioși și speriați au scăpat ca prin minune.

În această dimineață vom mulțumi că Dumnezeu este pe tron și Se luptă pentru noi. Apoi ne vom ruga, cerând protecția, ajutorul și binecuvântarea Domnului peste călătoria și anii vieții noastre.

Wednesday, March 8, 2023: Exodus 14:1-31 – Crossing the Red Sea

Pharaoh and 600 fighting chariots set out in pursuit of the Jews. They were horrified when they saw Pharaoh’s numerous armies and realized they were trapped between the sea and their enemies.

Although they cried out to the Lord, they did not trust Him to help them. The frightened people found it easier to blame Moses for placing them under Pharaoh’s wrath.

God taught Moses to use his staff, directing it towards the sea – and the miracle happened. The sea split in two and the Jews walked on dry land, escaping the vengeance of the Egyptians. The water closed back in and drowned the pursuing army.

When God wants to save someone, He has all the resources at His disposal. The powerful army of the king died drowned in the sea, while the unfaithful and frightened Jews escaped as if by a miracle.

This morning, we will be thankful that God is on the throne and fighting for us. Then we will pray, asking for protection, help, and blessings from the Lord over our journey and the years of lives.
