Marți, 7 martie 2023, Exodul 12:37- 13:22 – Ieșirea din Egipt

Aproximativ 2 milioane de evrei au plecat din Egipt (600.000 de bărbați). Împreună cu ei au ieșit și mulți neevrei (,,adunătură”, ,,oameni de tot felul”).

Din acest motiv au existat trei condiții pentru a lua Paștele:

1) Circumcizia. Pastele era o sărbătoare pentru evrei.

2) Consumul de carne este interzis în afara casei.

3) Frângerea oaselor este interzisă.

Vom începe ziua cu bucuria că Dumnezeu ne-a mântuit prin Cristos. Apoi, ne vom ruga Domnului să ne dea putere pentru a rămâne în poporul lui Dumnezeu.

Tuesday, March 7, 2023: Exodus 12:37-13:22 – The Exodus from Egypt

Approximately 2 million Jews left Egypt (600,000 men). Many non-Jews also left with them (“mixed multitude,” “people of all kinds”).

For this reason, there were three conditions to observe the Passover:

1)    Circumcision. The Passover was a holiday for Jews.

2)    Eating meat was forbidden outside the home.

3)    Breaking of bones was also forbidden.

We will start the day with the joy that God has saved us through Christ. Then, we will pray to the Lord to give us strength to remain in God’s people.
