Duminică, 9 aprilie 2023, Leviticul 6:8-7:38 – Jertfele pentru preoți

Această secțiune conține detalii suplimentare despre jertfele pentru preoți: ,,lui Aaron și fiilor lui”. Deși abordează aceleași tipuri de jertfe, pune în evidență aspecte noi și specifice.

1) Regulile arderii de tot aduse de preoți. Arderea de tot trebuia să rămână pe altar toată noaptea. Preoții aveau responsabilitatea să țină focul aprins toată noaptea. Dimineața, preotul trebuia să ia cenușa de pe altar și s-o arunce afară din tabără.

2) Regulile jertfei de mâncare aduse de preoți. Jertfa de mâncare zilnică trebuia pregătită de ,,asistentul” preotului (moștenitorul slujbei de preot) și adusă jumătate dimineața și jumătate seara (v. 20).

3) Regulile jertfei pentru păcat aduse de preoți. Carnea de la jertfă de ispășire trebuia consumată de preot și membrii familiei lui de parte bărbătească (v. 26, 29). Hainele atinse accidental de sângele de la jertfă trebuiau reconsacrate; la fel și instrumentele folosite.

4) Regulile jertfei pentru vină aduse de preoți. Locul sacrificării se aseamănă cu locul unde era sacrificată arderea de tot.

5) Rezumatul jertfelor pentru ispășire și dedicare aduse de preoți. Darul de mâncare gătit era al preotului oficiant (v. 9), iar cel negătit era al tuturor preoților (v. 10).

6) Regulile jertfei de părtășie aduse de preoți. Trăsătura de bază a jertfei de părtășie era masa comună care o însoțea. Deoarece regulile pentru preoți se refereau la împărțirea cărnii animalelor sacrificate, era nevoie de foarte multe detalii care lămureau activitățile lor.

După ce Moise și Aaron au intrat și au ieșit din Cortul Întâlnirii, au binecuvântat poporul și slava Domnului S-a arătat întregului popor. Astfel, scopul apropierii poporului de Dumnezeu prin jertfe a fost împlinit (v. 4 și 6). Manifestarea vizibilă a prezenței lui Dumnezeu și focul supranatural care a mistuit părțile din jertfe pe altar demonstrează faptul că Dumnezeu a acceptat jertfele.  

Este dimineață și vom mulțumi lui Dumnezeu pentru că ne-a eliberat de ignoranță, descoperindu-ne voia Sa. Neștiința conduce la necredință, însă cunoașterea adevărului conduce la credință (Romani 10:14-17). Apoi ne vom ruga Domnului să ne ferească de păcat și să ne primească rodul slujirii.

This section contains additional details about the offerings for the priests, “Aaron and his sons.” Although it addresses the same types of offerings, it highlights new and specific aspects.

1)    The rules for the burnt offering brought by the priests – The burnt offering was to remain on the altar all night. The priests were responsible for keeping the fire burning all night. In the morning, the priest had to take the ashes from the altar and throw them outside the camp.

2)    The rules for the grain offering brought by the priests – The daily grain offering was to be prepared by the priest's assistant (the inheritor of the priestly service) and brought half in the morning and half in the evening (v. 20).

3)    The rules for the sin offering brought by the priests – The meat from the sin offering was to be eaten by the priest and the male members of his family (v. 26, 29). Clothes accidentally touched by the blood from the offering had to be re-consecrated, as did the tools used.

4)    The rules for the guilt offering brought by the priests – The location of the sacrifice was similar to the location of the burnt offering.

5)    The summary of the offerings for atonement and dedication brought by the priests – The cooked food gift was for the officiating priest (v. 9), and the uncooked food was for all the priests (v. 10).

6)    The rules for the fellowship offering brought by the priests – The main feature of the fellowship offering was the communal meal that accompanied it. Because the rules for the priests referred to the sharing of the meat of sacrificial animals, many details were needed to clarify their activities.

After Moses and Aaron entered and exited the Tent of Meeting, they blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to the entire people. Thus, the purpose of bringing the people closer to God through offerings was fulfilled (v. 4 and 6). The visible manifestation of God's presence and the supernatural fire that consumed the parts of the offerings on the altar demonstrated that God accepted the offerings.

It is morning, and we will thank God for freeing us from ignorance by revealing His will to us. Ignorance leads to unbelief, but knowledge of the truth leads to faith (Romans 10:14-17). Then we will pray to the Lord to keep us from sin and receive the fruit of our service.
