Luni, 8 mai 2023, Numeri 9:1-23 – Instrucțiuni pentru sărbătoarea Paștelor

Trecuse deja un an de când poporul a ieșit din Egipt. La porunca lui Dumnezeu, Moise mai adaugă câteva instrucțiuni la rânduielile sărbătorii Paștelor:

1)    Persoanele care erau necurate din punct de vedere ceremonial pentru că s-au atins de un mort și nu puteau prăznui Paștele în ziua a 14-a a primei luni, puteau sărbători Paștele în următoarea lună în ziua a 14-a;

2)    Persoana care putea sărbători Paștele în prima lună, dar refuza, trebuia să fie excomunicată (cel mai probabil omorâtă);

3)    Străinul care locuia între ei (neevreu) putea sărbători Paștele fără restricții (Ezra 6:20-21).

Dumnezeu călăuzea poporul ziua printr-un nor și noaptea printr-un stâlp de foc. Atunci când norul sau focul se deplasa, poporul își ridica tabăra și mergea după nor/foc. Atunci când norul sau stâlpul de foc se oprea, și poporul se oprea. Numai atunci când se mișca norul/focul, se deplasa poporul.

Avem parte de o nouă dimineață! Vom începe rugăciunea mulțumindu-I Domnului pentru sărbătorile sfinte în contextul cărora retrăim gloria marilor arătări ale lui Dumnezeu. Apoi vom cere cu insistență călăuzirea Sa – călăuzire în fiecare zi și în fiecare noapte. În felul acesta vom avea garanția că drumul pe care mergem ajunge în cer.

Monday, May 8th, 2023: Numbers 9:1-23 – Instructions for the Passover Celebration

It had already been a year since the people had left Egypt. By God's command, Moses added a few more instructions to the regulations for the celebration of Passover:

1)    People who were ceremonially unclean because they had touched a dead body and could not celebrate Passover on the 14th day of the first month could celebrate Passover on the 14th day of the following month.

2)    A person who could celebrate Passover in the first month but refused to do so was to be excommunicated (most likely killed).

3)    A stranger (non-Jew) living among them could celebrate Passover without any restrictions (Ezra 6:20-21).

God guided the people during the day with a cloud and at night with a pillar of fire. When the cloud or fire moved, the people would pack up camp and follow it. When the cloud or pillar of fire stopped, the people would stop. Only when the cloud/fire moved would the people move.

We have a new morning! We will begin our prayer by thanking the Lord for the holy celebrations during which we relive the glory of God's great manifestations. Then we will insistently ask for His guidance – guidance every day and every night. In this way, we will have the guarantee that the path we are on leads to heaven.
