Miercuri, 31 mai 2023, Numeri 32:1-42 – Galaadul dat lui Gad și Ruben

Semințiile lui Ruben și Gat au fost binecuvântare cu mulțimi de vite, drept pentru care au cerut lui Moise să rămână în Transnistria unde erau pășuni foarte bune. Semințiile lui Ruben, Gad și jumătate din Manase au primit regiuni care aparținuseră regilor Sihon și Og (21:21-35). Pentru că regiunea dată lor era înainte de Iordan, Moise i-a avertizat că intenția lor de a rămâne în această zonă va slabi motivația celorlalte de a trece Iordanul și de a lua cealaltă parte a țării în stăpânire. A venit vremea să fie onorați cu împlinirea visului lor, proprietari în Canaan!

Fiind dimineață, ne vom ruga mulțumindu-I Domnului pentru că ne-a dat casă și familie. Apoi Îl vom ruga pe Dumnezeu să ne facă parte de pășune bună, după planul și îndurarea Sa.

Wednesday, May 31, 2023: Numbers 32:1-42 – Gilead given to Gad and Reuben

The tribes of Reuben and Gad were blessed with abundant livestock, so they asked Moses to allow them to stay in the land of Gilead, where there were very good pastures. The tribes of Reuben, Gad, and half of the tribe of Manasseh received regions that had belonged to the kings Sihon and Og (21:21-35). Since the land given to them was on the east side of the Jordan, Moses warned them that their intention to stay in that area might weaken the motivation of the other tribes to cross the Jordan and take possession of the other side of the land. The time had come for them to be honored with the fulfillment of their dream – becoming owners in Canaan!

We will pray this morning, thanking the Lord for giving us a home and family. Then we will ask God to grant us good green pasture according to His plan and mercy.
