Duminică, 30 aprilie 2023: Numeri 1:1-54 – Numărătoarea Israelienilor

Numeri este o carte istorică și legislativă. Ea amintește despre două recensăminte ale evreilor. Prima numărătoare a fost făcută la Sinai în capitolul 1. Cea de-a doua numărătoare s-a făcut în Câmpia Moabului în capitolul 26.

Cartea Numeri mai poate fi numită și „cartea călătoriilor, popasurilor și a cârtirilor” (Numeri 33 și 11). Cel mai cunoscut pasaj al cărții este întâmplarea cu șarpele de aramă (Num. 21:4-9) pe care Domnul Isus o compara cu propria Sa răstignire. Numărătoarea făcută sugerează ideea de proprietate a lui Dumnezeu.

Să-I mulțumim pentru tot ce ne-a dat. Apoi să continuăm rugăciunea cerând lui Dumnezeu călăuzire în toate lucrurile.

Sunday, April 30th, 2023: Numbers 1:1-54 – The Census of the Israelites

Numbers is a historical and legislative book that recalls two censuses of the Jews. The first census was taken at Sinai in chapter 1. The second census was taken in the Plains of Moab in chapter 26.

The Book of Numbers can also be called “the book of travels, stops, and complaints” (Numbers 33 and 11). The most well-known passage in the book is the incident with the bronze serpent (Num. 21:4-9), which Jesus compared to his own crucifixion. The census taken suggests the idea of God's property.

Let us thank Him for all He has given us. Then, let us continue in prayer, asking God for guidance in all things.
