Sâmbătă, 29 aprilie 2023, Leviticul 27:1-34 – Jurăminte, daruri și zeciuieli

Întotdeauna Dumnezeu a insistat pe dezvoltarea trăsăturilor de caracter. În cazul de față, Dumnezeu accentuează respectarea și împlinirea juruințelor făcute. Aceasta este pentru prima dată când Biblia interzice oamenilor să jure strâmb pe Numele Domnului, căci aceasta ar însemna necinstirea Numelui lui Dumnezeu.

Apoi, Biblia amintește faptul că Dumnezeu devine proprietarul lucrurilor pe care oamenii le închină lui Dumnezeu. Orice lucru închinat lui Dumnezeu devine proprietatea cerului. Unul dintre lucrurile închinate lui Dumnezeu este zeciuiala. Banii aceștia sunt ai lui Dumnezeu și omul nu mai are drept asupra lor; ei devin ai lui Dumnezeu.

Începem rugăciunea din această dimineață mulțumindu-I lui Dumnezeu pentru că El ne împlinește toate nevoile. Apoi Îl vom ruga să ne ajute să împlinim promisiunile făcute și să nu luăm din lucrurile închinate lui Dumnezeu.

Saturday, April 29, 2023: Leviticus 27:1-34 – Oaths, Offerings, and Tithes

God has always emphasized the development of character traits. In this case, God emphasizes the importance of respecting and fulfilling oaths that were made. This is the first time in the Bible that people are prohibited from bearing false witness in the name of the Lord, as it would be a dishonor to the name of God.

Furthermore, the Bible reminds us that God becomes the owner of things that people dedicate to Him. Anything dedicated to God becomes the property of heaven. One of the things dedicated to God is the tithe. This money belongs to God, and humans no longer have any rights over it; it becomes God’s.

We begin our prayer this morning by thanking God for fulfilling all our needs. Then, we will ask Him to help us fulfill our promises and not try to take from Him things already dedicated to Him.
