Vineri, 28 martie 2025, Ezechiel 7:1-27

Capitolul șapte conține profeția pe care Dumnezeu i-a dat-o lui Ezechiel cu privire la venirea zilei de judecată și a pedepsei pentru Israel.

Mesajul cărții poate fi împărțit în câteva secțiuni:

1.     Sfârșitul a venit peste Israel (vers. 1-4) „Sfârșitul vine, vine sfârșitul peste cele patru margini ale țării!” (vers. 2)

2.     Ziua Domnului a venit (vers. 5-9) „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: ‘Iată, vine o nenorocire, o nenorocire nemaipomenită!
Vine sfârşitul, vine sfârşitul; se trezeşte împotriva ta! Iată că a şi venit!” (vers. 5-6)

3.     Distrugerea economiei a venit (vers. 10-13) „Silnicia s-a înălţat ca să slujească de toiag răutăţii; nu mai rămâne nimic din ei, nici din gloata lor gălăgioasă, nici din bogăţia lor! Şi nimeni nu-i boceşte! Vine vremea, se apropie ziua! Să nu se bucure cumpărătorul, să nu se mâhnească vânzătorul! Căci izbucneşte mânia împotriva întregii lor mulţimi.” (vers. 11-12)

4.     Războiul și foametea au venit (vers. 14-18) „Sună trâmbiţa, totul este gata, dar nimeni nu merge la luptă, căci urgia Mea izbucneşte împotriva întregii lor mulţimi. Afară bântuie sabia, în casă, ciuma şi foametea! Cine este la câmp va muri de sabie, iar cine este în cetate va fi mâncat de foamete şi ciumă.” (vers. 14-15)

5.     Mânia lui Dumnezeu a venit peste sistemul idolatru (vers. 19-27) „Se făleau cu podoaba lor măreaţă şi cu ea au făcut icoanele urâciunilor lor, ale idolilor lor. De aceea le-o voi preface în scârbă pentru ei. O voi da de jaf în mâinile străinilor şi ca pradă nelegiuiţilor pământului ca s-o pângărească.” (vers. 20-21)

O puternică lecție de viață pune în evidență faptul că idolatria va fi pedepsită de Dumnezeu și averea nu poate scăpa pe nimeni de mânia Lui. Ziua judecății este inevitabilă – Cristos este singura salvare.

Să ne rugăm pentru fidelitate și viață sfântă.

Friday, March 28, 2025 – Ezekiel 7:1–27

Chapter seven contains the prophecy that God gave to Ezekiel concerning the coming day of judgment and punishment for Israel.

The message of the chapter can be divided into several sections:

1.     The end has come upon Israel (verses 1–4) “The end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land!” (verse 2)

2.     The Day of the Lord has come (verses 5–9) “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Disaster! Unheard-of disaster! See, it comes! The end has come! The end has come! It has roused itself against you. See, it comes!” (verses 5–6)

3.     The destruction of the economy has come (verses 10–13) “The day has arrived, the day has come! Doom has burst forth, the rod has budded, arrogance has blossomed! Their wealth will be plundered, their noisy crowds will perish, their splendor will vanish. No one will be left. The time has come! The day has arrived! Let not the buyer rejoice nor the seller grieve, for my wrath is on the whole crowd.” (verses 11–12)

4.     War and famine have come (verses 14–18) “They have blown the trumpet, they have made all things ready, but no one will go into battle, for my wrath is on the whole crowd.
Outside is the sword; inside are plague and famine. Those in the country will die by the sword; those in the city will be devoured by famine and plague.” (verses 14–15)

5.     God’s wrath has come upon the idolatrous system (verses 19–27) “They took pride in their beautiful jewelry and used it to make their detestable idols. They made it into vile images; therefore I will make it a thing unclean for them.
I will give their wealth as plunder to foreigners and as loot to the wicked of the earth, who will defile it.” (verses 20–21)

A powerful life lesson highlights the truth that idolatry will be punished by God, and wealth cannot save anyone from His wrath. The Day of Judgment is inevitable—Christ is the only salvation.
