Duminică, 13 iulie 2025, Zaharia 3:1-10

Zaharia 3 descrie o viziune profetică ce leagă trecutul, prezentul și viitorul mesianic. Este o imagine profetică a mântuirii prin har, a curățirii prin mijlocirea divină și a restaurării prin moartea înlocuitoare a Mântuitorului.

Textul are câteva idei principale:

1.     Viziunea lui Iosua și acuzația lui Satan (vers. 1–2)
„Domnul a zis Satanei: „Domnul să te mustre, Satano! Domnul să te mustre, El, care a ales Ierusalimul! Nu este el, Iosua, un tăciune scos din foc?” (vers. 1)

2.     Curățirea și îmbrăcarea lui Iosua (vers. 3–5)
„Iar Îngerul, luând cuvântul, a zis celor ce erau înaintea Lui: „Dezbrăcaţi-l de hainele murdare de pe el!” Apoi a zis lui Iosua: „Iată că îndepărtez de la tine nelegiuirea şi te îmbrac cu haine de sărbătoare!” (vers. 4)

3.     Chemarea la ascultare și promisiunea slujirii (vers. 6–7)
„Dacă vei umbla pe căile Mele și dacă vei păzi poruncile Mele, vei judeca și Casa Mea și vei priveghea asupra curţilor Mele și te voi lăsa să intri împreună cu cei ce sunt aici.” (vers. 7)

4.     Profeția despre Odrasla și piatra cu șapte ochi (vers. 8–9)
„Iată, voi aduce pe Robul Meu, Odrasla. Căci iată că numai spre piatra aceasta pe care am pus-o înaintea lui Iosua sunt îndreptaţi şapte ochi; iată, Eu Însumi voi săpa ce trebuie săpat pe ea, zice Domnul oştirilor, și într-o singură zi voi înlătura nelegiuirea țării acesteia.” (vers. 8b–9)

5.     Promisiunea păcii și restaurării (vers. 10)
„În ziua aceea’, zice Domnul oştirilor, ‘vă veţi pofti unii pe alţii sub viţă și sub smochin.”

Atunci când ne încredem deplin în lucrarea mântuitoare a lui Cristos, Dumnezeu nu ne mai judecă după starea noastră păcătoasă, ci după harul Său. Cristos este Odrasla care a adus iertarea și a ispășit nelegiuirea tuturor oamenilor într-o singură zi.

Această veste bună să o spunem tuturor oamenilor și să ne rugăm pentru ca fiecare om să fie mântuit prin Cristos.

Zechariah 3 describes a prophetic vision that links the past, present, and messianic future. It is a prophetic image of salvation by grace, cleansing through divine intercession, and restoration through the substitutionary death of the Savior.

The text has several main ideas:

1.     The vision of Joshua and the accusation of Satan (vv. 1–2)
“The Lord said to Satan: ‘The Lord rebuke you, Satan! The Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebuke you! Is not this man a burning stick snatched from the fire?’” (v. 1)

2.     The cleansing and clothing of Joshua (vv. 3–5)
“The Angel said to those who were standing before him, ‘Take off his filthy clothes.’ Then he said to Joshua, ‘See, I have taken away your sin, and I will put fine garments on you.’” (v. 4)

3.     The call to obedience and the promise of service (vv. 6–7)
“If you will walk in my ways and keep my requirements, then you will govern my house and have charge of my courts, and I will give you a place among these standing here.” (v. 7)

4.     The prophecy of the Branch and the stone with seven eyes (vv. 8–9)
“I am going to bring my servant, the Branch. See, the stone I have set in front of Joshua! There are seven eyes on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day.’” (vv. 8b–9)

5.     The promise of peace and restoration (v. 10)
“In that day each of you will invite your neighbor to sit under your vine and fig tree,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”

When we fully trust in the saving work of Christ, God no longer judges us according to our sinful condition but according to His grace. Christ is the Branch who brought forgiveness and atoned for the sin of all people in a single day.

Let us share this good news with everyone and pray that every person will be saved through Christ.
