Vineri, 12 aprilie 2024, Iov 27:1-23 – A doua parte a celui de-al treilea răspuns al lui Iov

Iov își afirmă nevinovăția și intenția neclintită să continue să trăiască în nevinovăție (vers. 1-6). El a făcut apologia propriei nevinovății și în răspunsul dat lui Elifaz (16:17, 23:10-12), în răspunsul dat lui Bildad (9:21-22) și în răspunsul dat lui Țofar (13:18-19).

El s-a angajat să continue să-și apere nevinovăția și dreptatea în fața ,,prietenilor săi” atâta timp cât va trăi (27:3, 6).

De asemenea, de mai multe ori, Iov L-a acuzat pe Dumnezeu de nedreptate (7:20, 10:2-3, 16:12-13) și de faptul că îi ,,amărăște viața” (vers. 2b). Iov a subliniat faptul că cine Îl cunoaște pe Dumnezeu nu-l va acuza de păcat pe cel neprihănit în absența dovezilor doar pentru faptul că trece prin suferință.

Iov a explicat că cel rău nu are viitor și nenorocirea este pe urmele lui, în timp ce omul neprihănit va stăpâni țara. Pocăința de păcat și sfințirea vieții prin Cristos este alegerea omului care vrea să trăiască și să moștenească împărăția lui Dumnezeu.

Urmează să ne rugăm și vom mijloci pentru oamenii nemântuiți, aflați în afara stăpânirii Domnului Cristos. Această dramatică situație poate fi schimbată prin credința lor în Cristos și prin pocăința lor față de păcat. Însă pentru aceasta trebuie să audă vestea bună a Evangheliei.

,,Cum vor crede în Acela despre care nu au auzit? Și cum vor auzi despre El fără propovăduitor? … Astfel, credința vine în urma auzirii; iar auzirea vine prin Cuvântul lui Cristos” (Romani 10:14, 17).

Friday, April 12, 2024: Job 27:1-23 – The Second Part of Job's Third Response

Job affirms his innocence and his unwavering intention to continue living in innocence (verses 1-6). He has defended his own innocence before in his response to Eliphaz (16:17, 23:10-12), in his response to Bildad (9:21-22), and in his response to Zophar (13:18-19).

He is committed to continuing to defend his innocence and righteousness in the face of his “friends” for as long as he lives (27:3, 6).

Additionally, Job has repeatedly accused God of injustice (7:20, 10:2-3, 16:12-13) and of “bittering his life” (verse 2b). Job emphasized that one who knows God would not accuse the innocent of sin in the absence of evidence just because they are suffering.

Job explained that the wicked have no future and calamity is on their heels, while the righteous man will inherit the land. Repentance from sin and sanctifying life through Christ is the choice of the man who wants to live and inherit the kingdom of God.

We will continue to pray and intercede for the unsaved, those outside the reign of Lord Christ. This dramatic situation can be changed through their faith in Christ and their repentance from sin. However, they need to hear the good news of the Gospel.

How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. (Romans 10:14,17)
