Sâmbătă, 11 ianuarie 2025, Isaia 55:1-13

Capitolul 55 prezintă mântuirea celorlalte popoare. Chemarea nu este limitată la poporul evreu, ci este o chemare pentru toți cei însetați: „Voi, toţi cei însetaţi, veniţi la ape, chiar şi cel ce n-are bani! Veniţi şi cumpăraţi bucate, veniţi şi cumpăraţi vin şi lapte, fără bani şi fără plată!” (vers. 1)

Importanța și urgența vieții este exprimată în versetul 6: „Căutaţi pe Domnul câtă vreme se poate găsi; chemaţi-L câtă vreme este aproape.”

1.     Să-L căutăm: „Căutaţi pe Domnul…”

2.     Să-L chemăm: „…chemaţi-L…”

3.     Să folosim timpul potrivit: „…câtă vreme se poate găsi… câtă vreme este aproape.”

Dorința supremă a lui Dumnezeu este prezentată în versetul 7: „Să se lase cel rău de calea lui şi omul nelegiuit să se lase de gândurile lui, să se întoarcă la Domnul, care va avea milă de el, la Dumnezeul nostru, care nu oboseşte iertând.” (vers. 7)

1.     Calea și gândurile nelegiuite trebuie părăsite.

2.     Întoarcerea la Dumnezeu este izvorul înțelepciunii.

Dumnezeu este îndurerat de lipsa compatibilității dintre El și israeliți: „Căci gândurile Mele nu sunt gândurile voastre şi căile voastre nu sunt căile Mele”, zice Domnul.” (vers. 8)

Puterea creatoare a lui Dumnezeu este singura speranță în procesul restaurării omului: „Căci, după cum ploaia şi zăpada se coboară din ceruri şi nu se mai întorc înapoi, ci udă pământul şi-l fac să rodească şi să odrăslească, pentru ca să dea sămânţă semănătorului şi pâine celui ce mănâncă, tot aşa şi Cuvântul Meu care iese din gura Mea nu se întoarce la Mine fără rod, ci va face voia Mea şi va împlini planurile Mele.” (vers. 10-11)

După cum ploaia și zăpada fac parte din procesul semănatului și seceratului, tot la fel Cuvântul ieșit din gura lui Dumnezeu va avea autoritatea iertării păcatelor și vindecării bolilor. Să ne rugăm astăzi pentru restaurarea oamenilor păcătoși și pentru sfințirea lor pentru Împărăția cerurilor.

Saturday, January 11, 2025 – Isaiah 55:1-13

Chapter 55 presents salvation for other nations. The call is not limited to the Jewish people but extends to all who are thirsty: “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost!” (verse 1)

The importance and urgency of life are expressed in verse 6: “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.”

1.     Let us seek Him: “Seek the Lord…”
2.      Let us call on Him: “…call on him…”
3.      Let us use the proper time: “…while he may be found… while he is near.”

God’s supreme desire is presented in verse 7: “Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.” (verse 7)

1. Wicked ways and unrighteous thoughts must be abandoned.
2. Turning to God is the source of wisdom.

God is grieved by the incompatibility between Him and the Israelites: “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. (verse 8)

God’s creative power is the only hope in the process of man’s restoration: “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” (verses 10-11)

Just as rain and snow are part of the sowing and harvesting process, so too will the Word spoken by God have the authority to forgive sins and heal diseases. Let us pray today for the restoration of sinful people and their sanctification for the Kingdom of Heaven.
