Ezechiel 48 este ultimul capitol al cărții și descrie viziunea profetică a împărțirii pământului promis între cele douăsprezece seminții ale lui Israel. De asemenea, explică organizarea viitoare a țării și a templului, reflectând speranța restaurării divine.

Acest capitol poate fi împărțit în două secțiuni:

1.     Împărțirea pământului între semințiile lui Israel (vers. 1-29): „Iată numele semințiilor: de la marginea de miazănoapte, de-a lungul drumului Hetlonului spre Hamat și Hațar-Enan…” (vers. 1)

a)     Fiecare seminție primește o porțiune de pământ, simbolizând ordinea și dreptatea divină.

b)    Zona sfântă și porțiunea pentru preoți (vers. 8-22)

c)     O parte centrală este rezervată pentru templu, preoți și leviți, subliniind importanța închinării înaintea lui Dumnezeu.

2.     Orașul sfânt și porțile sale (vers. 30-35)

„Iată ieșirile cetății. În partea de miazănoapte, care are o întindere de patru mii cinci sute de coți și porțile cetății se vor numi după numele semințiilor lui Israel – trei porți la miazănoapte: o poartă a lui Ruben, o poartă a lui Iuda și o poartă a lui Levi.” (vers. 30-31)

a)     Orașul are douăsprezece porți, fiecare numită după semințiile lui Israel, simbolizând unitatea poporului lui Dumnezeu.

b)    Numele orașului: „Domnul este acolo” (vers. 35)

Împărțirea în mod egal a pământului între seminții arată că Dumnezeu dorește restaurarea și unitatea poporului Său. Capitolul 48 încheie cartea cu o viziune a restaurării perfecte și a păcii divine.

Să ne rugăm pentru unitatea și viziunea Bisericii, pentru pacea și bucuria poporului sfânt.

Ezekiel 48 is the final chapter of the book and presents the prophetic vision of the division of the Promised Land among the twelve tribes of Israel. It also outlines the future organization of the land and the temple, reflecting the hope of divine restoration.

This chapter can be divided into two sections:

1. The division of the land among the tribes of Israel (verses 1–29):
“These are the tribes, listed by name: at the northern frontier, Dan will have one portion; it will follow the Hethlon road to Lebo Hamath; Hazar Enan on the northern border…” (verse 1)

• Each tribe receives a portion of land, symbolizing divine order and justice.
• The holy zone and the portion for the priests (verses 8–22)
• A central part is reserved for the temple, priests, and Levites, highlighting the importance of worship before God.

2. The Holy City and its gates (verses 30–35)
“These will be the exits of the city: beginning on the north side, which is 4,500 cubits long, the gates of the city will be named after the tribes of Israel—the three gates on the north side will be the gate of Reuben, the gate of Judah and the gate of Levi.” (verses 30–31)

• The city has twelve gates, each named after one of the tribes of Israel, symbolizing the unity of God's people.
• The name of the city: “The Lord is there” (verse 35)

The equal distribution of the land among the tribes shows that God desires the restoration and unity of His people. Chapter 48 concludes the book with a vision of perfect restoration and divine peace.

Let us pray for the unity and vision of the Church, and for the peace and joy of God’s holy people.
