Mesajul capitolului 39 face parte din profețiile despre Gog și Magog prezentate în capitolele 38 și 39, profeții care descriu o mare invazie împotriva Israelului în vremurile de pe urmă. Gog este liderul unei coaliții de națiuni care atacă Israelul, însă Dumnezeu va distruge aceste armate.

1.     Distrugerea lui Gog (vers. 1-6) Dumnezeu aduce o judecată asupra lui Gog și a armatelor lui, făcându-le să cadă pe munții Israelului: „Voi trimite foc asupra Magogului și asupra celor ce locuiesc liniștiți în ostroave, ca să știe că Eu sunt Domnul.” (vers. 6)

1.     Manifestarea gloriei lui Dumnezeu (vers. 7-8) Dumnezeu Își arată slava printre națiuni, astfel încât Israel să vadă suveranitatea și slava divină: „Îmi voi face cunoscut Numele Meu cel sfânt în mijlocul poporului Meu Israel și nu voi mai lăsa să fie pângărit Numele Meu cel sfânt.” (vers. 7)

2.     Eliberarea și curățirea țării (vers. 9-16) După înfrângerea lui Gog, Israel va petrece câteva luni curățind țara de trupurile celor omorâți în luptă.

1.     Restaurarea Israelului (vers. 25-29) Dumnezeu promite restaurarea și împuternicirea poporului Său: „Acum voi aduce înapoi pe prizonierii lui Iacov și voi avea milă de toată casa lui Israel și voi fi gelos pentru Numele Meu cel sfânt.” (vers. 25)

Acest capitol ne încurajează să avem încredere deplină în planul lui Dumnezeu, bazându-ne pe promisiunile Sale. Să ne încredem în Dumnezeu în toate încercările prin care trecem, știind că credincioșia lui Dumnezeu este desăvârșită.

Tuesday, April 29, 2025 – Ezekiel 39:1–29

The message of chapter 39 is part of the prophecies about Gog and Magog found in chapters 38 and 39—prophecies that describe a great invasion against Israel in the end times. Gog is the leader of a coalition of nations that attacks Israel, but God will destroy these armies.

1. The destruction of Gog (verses 1–6): God brings judgment upon Gog and his armies, causing them to fall on the mountains of Israel: “I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the Lord.” (verse 6)
2. The manifestation of God's glory (verses 7–8): God displays His glory among the nations so that Israel may see His sovereignty and divine glory: “I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned.” (verse 7)
3. The cleansing and purification of the land (verses 9–16): After Gog’s defeat, Israel will spend several months cleansing the land of the bodies of those killed in battle.
4. The restoration of Israel (verses 25–29): God promises the restoration and empowerment of His people: “I will now restore the fortunes of Jacob and will have compassion on all the people of Israel, and I will be zealous for my holy name.” (verse 25)

This chapter encourages us to place our full trust in God's plan, relying on His promises. Let us trust God through every trial, knowing that His faithfulness is perfect.
