Sâmbătă, 1 aprilie 2023 – Exodul 38:1-31 – Construcția curții Cortului și inventarul materialelor

Parte din subiectul acesta a fost discutat la capitolul 37. Itamar, fiul cel mai mare al lui Aaron, a condus grupul Leviților care au socotit materialele dăruite de popor. Inventarul a demonstrat importanța locului de închinare în inima oamenilor. S-a colectat o tonă de aur (v. 24), aproximativ patru tone de argint (v. 25-28) și aproximativ două tone și jumătate de aramă (v. 29-31). Valoarea materialelor de construcție demonstra importanța lui Dumnezeu în inima lor, dar și faptul că această ,,Casă a lui Dumnezeu” arăta că Stăpânul ei are resurse să poarte de grijă poporului Său.

Este dimineață și mulțumim lui Dumnezeu pentru că primește jertfa fiecăruia dintre noi. Primește jertfa vițelului, dar primește și jertfa turturelei. Apoi ne rugăm lui Dumnezeu să fim găsiți cu sufletul curat, nu doar cu lucruri materiale dăruite. Ceea ce suntem să nu rămână în urma la ceea ce facem.

Saturday, April 1, 2023 – Exodus 38:1-31 – The construction of the Tabernacle’s Courtyard and Inventory of Materials

Part of this topic was discussed in chapter 37. Ithamar, Aaron's oldest son, led the group of Levites who inventoried the materials donated by the people. The inventory demonstrated the importance of the place of worship in the hearts of the people. One ton of gold (v. 24), approximately four tons of silver (v. 25-28), and approximately two and a half tons of bronze (v. 29-31) were collected. The value of the building materials demonstrated the importance of God in their hearts. This “House of God” also showed that its Master had the resources to take care of His people.

It is morning, and we want to thank God for accepting each of our offerings. He accepts the offering of the calf, but He also accepts the offering of the turtledove. Then we will pray that God finds in us a pure heart, not just the material things we’ve donated. Who we are should not be less important than what we do.
